Users invalid credentials

If you're seeing an “Invalid credentials” error, it may be due to selecting the wrong login method for your account type.

There are two different ways to log into Paid, depending on how your account was set up:

1. If you have a Stripe account — or want to create one

You must select the “Connect with Stripe” button.

This option is for users who:

• Already have a Stripe account and want to link it to Paid, or
• Don’t have a Stripe account yet, but want to create one and start using Paid

Selecting this button will redirect you to Stripe’s secure platform, where you can log in to your existing Stripe account or create a new one, and authorize Paid to access it.

2. If you were given login credentials by your admin (Username & Password)

You should select “Login via Paid”.

This is the correct option for team members who received login credentials directly from their admin (typically an email and a password).
