Users
The Users feature allows you to manage multiple users under the same account, with fine-grained permissions for each. This is especially useful for teams who want to share access to the app without giving full control to everyone.
Permissions
When adding or editing a user, you can assign specific permissions depending on what access you'd like them to have:
- Show transactions — Allows the user to view the Transactions screen
- Enable refunds — Allows the user to issue refunds from the Transactions screen
- Show products — Allows the user to view the Products screen
- Enable editing products — Allows the user to archive existing products and add new ones
- Show tax rates — Allows the user to view the Tax Rates screen
- Enable editing tax rates — Allows the user to add new tax rates
- Show payouts — Allows the user to view the Payouts screen
Add a user
To add a new user:
- Access the "Feature" menu positioned at the top right corner of the home screen
- Tap on the "users"
- Tap Add user
- Enter a Display name and Email
- Select the permissions you’d like to assign
- A password setup link will be generated. This is shown only to you, the account owner — share this link with the user so they can set their password and join your account.
Note: If the email you entered is already associated with another Paid account, the selected permissions won’t apply immediately. You’ll need to re-set them once the user joins your account.
Edit or remove a user
To manage an existing user:
- Access the "Feature" menu positioned at the top right corner of the home screen
- Tap on the "users"
- Tap their Display name or Email
- Adjust their permissions as needed
- Tap on "save changes"
To delete a user, tap Delete user and confirm.
If a user has lost access (e.g. they’ve changed devices or forgotten their password), you can tap Reset password. A new password setup link will be generated — just like when first adding a user. Share this link with them so they can regain access.
