Adding tax to your payments
Adding tax to your payments in Paid is straightforward. Our platform provides the capability to integrate personalized tax rates, simplifying the process of computing and including taxes in transactions. This feature allows you to select a tax rate, enter the amount without tax, and the app will calculate and include the relevant tax in the total charge.
To include tax in your payments, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the menu located at the top left corner.
- Choose the Catalog -> Tax rates option from the menu.
- Select a specific tax rate that you wish to apply. This tax rate will be automatically added on top of the amount entered in the main view.
If you haven't set up any tax rates yet:
- Simply tap on "Add a new tax rate" to create and implement a new tax.
- Select the tax rate that you just created. This tax rate will be automatically added on top of the amount entered in the main view.
To remove a tax rate:
- Navigate to the menu located at the top left corner.
- Choose the Catalog -> Tax rates option from the menu.
- Tap on the specific tax rate that you want to remove or deselect.
